Poems from the
Inside
Seek
the light of day . . .
All the world's an oyster,
all the world's a pearl.
You may be:
an oyster
or a pearl
or a grain of sand.
Watch everything
and everyone;
or no one
and nothing.
As you choose.
Just remember:
Betrayal
may follow
a disarming smile.
Sow fear and confusion
among the enemy ranks,
then sit back
and laugh.
Laughter is a noise.
When the enemy can hear you,
laugh as if you laugh last.
It won't matter.
Either you won't know the difference,
or you will make it so.
While they look within,
encircle them.
When they look without,
strike from within.
Be like water -
freeze,
it expands.
Name the enemies fear
with quiet certainty.
He will flee and not escape.
